The game is short and sweet but definitely worth playing.  The music is great, the controls are tight, the weapon (a boomerang) is a lot of fun and there are some interesting powerups including one that turns you into a metal warrior for a short time.

The only flaw with the game is that there is no variety in gameplay, every level requires you to do the same thing (find the informant, get the key to the boss, find the boss door, defeat the boss, repeat.).  None of the bosses are that memorable and once you get the hang of the game it’s over.

The ending is kind of a let down as it is one screen of the hero thanking me for helping him win when the entire time I thought I was the hero…am I thanking myself? Also, why does it say “game over”, I won, shouldn’t it say “congratulations” or something?

Definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of Mega Man, G.I. Joe,  or Contra.
